Laura DeWitt

Owner and Managing Partner.

Founded Brooksville Natural Foods, now Get Healthy Vitamins and Natural Foods, in October 1991.

Voted in the top 30 US retailers 2024, by Vitamin Retailer Magazine.

Laura moved to Brooksville from England in 1990 with a goal to start a business, together with Karen Greenway, that would promote her passion for living a healthy, full and energetic life.

After 17 years as host of the local radio show, The Natural Way, and many speaking engagements, Laura has earned the reputation as a trusted wellness educator.

A passionate vegetarian for almost 40 years, Laura is an accomplished athlete; a seven-time All-American USA Triathlete with 7 Ironman Triathlon Finishes, including four World Championships.

Laura was elected YMCA Volunteer of The Year in 2008 and 2012, and served as Community Advisory Board Member for 12 years and Chair for three years. Laura founded and organised The Brooksville Cycling Classic 2010-2017.

Karen and Laura won Business Women of The Year, Hernando county in 2001.

Get Healthy was awarded for Outstanding Contribution to the Community, 2016.

Laura is married to Dan DeWitt and they have two adult sons, Jesse and Noah.

Karen Greenway

Karen moved to Brooksville from England with Laura DeWitt in 1990. With an extensive background in Sales and Sales Management, Karen’s goal was to bring her energy and skills to own and manage her own business with English style customer service.

Well known as a top local golfer, Karen represented Team Florida and participates in many state tournaments.

Karen has been very active in representing Get Healthy and the Natural Foods Industry at a Regional and National Legislative level. She was elected to the Board of The Natural Products Association as a Retail Director. Karen served as President of the South East Natural Products Association 2013-15. Karen’s passion for protecting customers and citizens’ ongoing rights to access nutritional products has taken her to Washington DC annually to lobby representatives on Capitol Hill.

Karen and Laura won Business Women of The Year, 2001.

Brian Mosser

Brian began his relationship with Get Healthy as an 8 year old customer, shopping with his health-aware Mom. He was formally hired at 18 as a store assistant and immediately loved the natural industry. Since that time, he has been promoted to Senior Sales Associate, Store Manager and, in 2017, assumed the role of General Manager responsible for store operations.

Brian is well known throughout the Natural Industry for his in-depth knowledge and education and represents Get Healthy at many regional and national events and conferences.

Kelli DerryBerry

General Manager, Administration

Kelli started at our Inverness Location as a part time customer service member. After graduating high school, Kelli joined us full time and ultimately became Store Manager from 2001-2005.

Kelli was promoted to Office Manager in 2006.

Kelli’s ability to manage finances, secure excellent relationships with vendors and suppliers, manage HR and oversee many and varied aspects of our busy vitamin and natural foods business earned her promotion to General Manager responsible for Administration in June 2017.
